keeping AlpBase Academy on piste
Founded by internationally recognised mountain activity instructors Jerry Gore & Rob Benton, AlpBase Academy aims to deliver confidence & youth empowerment through participation in adventurous activities.
Following a recommendation from existing clients at Galloway Activity Centre, Jerry invited us to prepare a proposal for a new mobile responsive website.
With most Schools & Colleges electing for summer activties the website had to be launched in advance of Easter; whilst the fast moving pace of their business coupled with the need to illustrate the vast range of activites throughout the seasons meant that the team at AlpBase had to have full editorial control over their website.
Following initial discussions and agreement on budget in December 2016, the website as designed in Januuary 2017 with content development during February. With the AlpBase team in Southern France and us in Scotland, full training in the use of the content management software was carried out using video conferncing and the new website was launced on 1st March 2017.
Jerry left for Asia on 6th March but before leaving he instructed us to develop another website for his accommodation business - we'll keep you posted when it's launched.
