A caravan park that takes its own bookings, down to the length of the van.
A touring site has a booking problem a hotel doesn't: the answer depends on the caravan. Shona and Mick needed to know the arrival day and time, how many nights, how many adults, children of two age bands, how many dogs, and how long the motorhome is — before they can say yes. Doing that by telephone, in a village of 800 people, means answering the phone instead of running the site.
What we delivered.
The booking form is the first thing on the page, and it asks for all of it at once — so a family either gets an answer or gets a call back, and nobody writes anything on a pad.
- Availability and booking on the home page, taking party size, dogs and caravan length
- Guest accounts, so a returning family doesn't retype everything
- Prices, on-site services and local attractions, kept by the owners themselves
- A gallery and a guestbook, because a touring site is sold by its regulars
Outcome.
An award-winning family site that answers the availability question itself, at any hour, and keeps the booking details straight when it does.
