Festaff needed a platform that could handle huge seasonal spikes in volunteer applications, manage shift scheduling across multiple simultaneous events, and give organisers a clear view of staffing levels — without the back end grinding to a halt during peak sign-up periods around major festival announcements.
We built a bespoke web application handling volunteer applications, member logins, shift management and event-specific staffing dashboards, tested to hold up under sudden traffic surges.
Festaff now manages staffing across major UK festivals — including Glastonbury and BST Hyde Park — through the platform every season.
