Web design for BALCARY HOUSE HOTEL - Scottish Borders

Located on the south side of the Scottish Borders town of Hawick, the Balcary House Hotel was opened in December 2016. Having lavished thousands of pounds on the refurbishment, owners David and Sue Watson were understandably keen to see a return and engaged us to develop a website with online booking system.

Working closely with David and Sue we agreed on the Evivo booking system and integrated this into our web design process. We set up the booking software, set the rate cards and ensured that all relevant channel feeds to Expedia, Booking.com etc were in place to generate online bookings.

We carried out keyword research and employed SEO techniques optimising all web pages for relevant keywords, we then set up a blog and social media channels to drive business.

Within hours of launch, our work was generating online bookings,  telephone enquiries and walk-in's with great reviews on Trip Advisor, Google and in social media. We are currently working on an ongoing basis to manage their marketing strategy.
